Adam’s County will only plow as far as there are people living full time.  For the roads into Fall Creek Adventures, this means they plow to where MiddleFork Road intersects Fall Creek Road.

Fall Creek Road IS OPEN year round, but it IS NOT plowed.

To access your property in the winter, you’ll need to be able to drive a road cover in deep snow.

“Darn it.  Sorry honey.  I guess I have to buy snow tracks for my SXS so we can get into our cabin during the winter.”

The ride in will be on a wide road in a snow track vehicle (SXS with tracks, Snowmobile, etc) up the mountain to your snowed in cabin.

This will be an exciting ride to bring your family, your friends, heck invite the SXS club members on each year.  Not too far, in the trees, up a mountain, powder snow everywhere with an incredible, warm destination at the end.

You can see for yourself what it is like in the report on our January 7, 2022 ride into our property:  https://fallcreekadventures.info/2023/01/08/winter-ride-report/

Fall Creek Adventures is located within one of the Purple zones.  During July – September 2022, we spoke with multiple people (i.e.. Denise Cobb) at the Payette National Forest including the Forest Service and the Road & Bridge Management & Maintenance department.  They confirmed the Fall Creek road IS open year round, just not plowed

Will I need a snowmobile permit to access my property in the winter?

No.

  • Fall Creek road IS NOT groomed, therefore no snowmobile permit is required to use it
  • MiddleFork road IS groomed, therefore you’ll need a snowmobile permit to ride on it (see below)
